An Ohio native, I moved to Sarasota from Chicago in 1991 to marry my best friend from Sweden! We’ve both had enough of winter. In 1996, I obtained my Florida real estate sales license. At that time, I had no idea my career would touch so many different aspects of this business. In addition to helping customers buy and sell homes, I’ve been a mortgage loan originator and a real estate paralegal. I’ve also worked for Sarasota County where I got to acquire park lands and road rights-of-way. I was even able to sell real estate owned by the municipality. My path led me to an investment bank to a role as a corporate fiduciary trustee for properties held in trusts. It turns out that I have now sat in every seat at the closing table – Realtor, buyer, seller, closer, and lender! Having had all of these experiences, I can honestly say my favorite real estate job is working in residential sales as a REALTOR!
